Meet the author behind Cambree's adventures
Based in Garrettsville, Ohio, I turned our family road trips across America with our real-life adventurous pup into storybooks that inspire wonder, curiosity, and learning in young readers everywhere.
How our cross-country journey began
Our dream was simple: buy an RV and travel across the United States. Most importantly, we wanted to make sure Cambree could join in on every adventure. Watching her explore diverse landscapes, meet curious wildlife, and greet friendly faces sparked an incredible spark. Encouraged by friends and family after sharing our travel stories, Cambree's Adventures was officially born.
Inspiring discovery and learning
Together with her best camper friend, Kamper, Cambree guides children through geography, native animals, and personal growth. Each book features an interactive map on the back cover so young adventurers can trace her path across the countryside, discover new regions, and learn positive life lessons through animal friendships.
Connecting with young readers and fans
One of the greatest joys of this journey is seeing how deeply children connect with Cambree. Kids love drawing pictures of her and sharing their creative artwork with us! We regularly travel for meet-and-greets and book signing events where young readers can say hello to Cambree in person and celebrate the love of reading.
"Cambree's Adventures brings geography to life for my kids. Meeting Cambree at a book signing made reading their favorite bedtime story unforgettable!"
A happy parent and reader
